Description

Juicy, lightly crispy, burger patties, smothered with your fav toppings, then piled on a delicious bun or wrapped in crispy, refreshing lettuce leaves. These burger patties are going to be a shining star on your recipe-go-round.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef, 80/20 blend
  • Seasonings of your choice
  • Butter, or oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Preheat a pan, like the Perfect Pan, to Medium High
  • Add butter or oil to pan
  • Gently break up ground beef into 4 equal sections
  • Form each section into equal balls
  • Flatten each ball out into patties, use a beef patty maker to create equally sized patties
  • Using a tablespoon silverware spoon, add an indent to the center of each burger patty to create a 2 inch indent
  • Season the tops of each patty, you do not need to mix seasoning into the ground beef
  • Add the patties to the frying pan once the pan is sufficiently hot, it should sizzle if you shake a drop of water onto its surface
  • Cook the patties for 4 mins on each side to achieve medium, you may have to adjust for your stovetop and personal taste
  • Remove the patties to a dish or cutting board to rest for 4-5 mins to attain even more juiciness

Notes

It’s important that the pan be heated up well before before you add the beef patties to gain that slightly crispy outside. Also, making them all similarly sized will ensure that they finish cooking at the same time.

Try not to flip the burgers over more than 1-2 times. I flip it once, time it for 4 mins, then flip it back one last time to add cheese slices if anybody wants them. Then I just wait 20-30 seconds and remove them to a resting plate.
